Everyone needs a will!
If you do not have a will when you pass away, the state will write one for you. As a matter of fact, it is already written, and it may contain provisions you do not like. Even if you do not have substantial property, it is important to have a valid current will.
A proper will should specify such things as who has custody of your minor children and other such familial matters not necessarily associated with assets. Studies show that only one out of ten people have a valid will. If you are one of the nine, you are leaving a terrible gap in your planning for those you love. A will should be designed to benefit your loved ones in the event that they should lose you prematurely.
